That tournament draws too many idiots to it, too many that should never own a boat. We will not be there.

I wen tout Friday and fishing was so tough that I am staying away this year.

It's a great time to go somewhere else.

I'm out------I fished Sealy's tournaments for many years back in the 90's and a few more recent. Bob has always had it in the rules that pros/guides are prohibited from fishing but until he adds people who have hired a guide within the last 30 days and has at least a 7 day off limit period, I won't fish another. Check the previous winners list, and you'll see "MOST" are locals and a few out of towners. Having spoken too, over-heard conversations etc.. over the years I know that many of the folks who have cashed checks had hired a guide just days prior to the tourney. Yes a few guys who haven't hired a guide or been on the lake in the previous 7 days get lucky and cash a check, it's Fork--it happens! His tourneys have always been touted as being for the "weekend angler/working man" but how is this so. I as well as many others don't have the luxury to pre-fish the lake or be there days before the tourney to hire a guide. I'm the "working man". I guess I'm getting old--Spending a few hundred bucks to practically get run over and see people act as they do these days in these big tourneys is just not for me!

I'm in and looking forward to it. I've managed to cash a couple good checks the last couple years and i promise there was no prefishing. There will be a great crowd as always and a good time had by all who have the right attitude. Just go out there have fun and maybe get that lucky bite.

I enjoy watching all the "idiots" out there I just make sure to stay out of there way! So yes I will be going looking forward to it!
