I feel like I'm on a sinking ship, and most of the people around me are playing with drills.

With the downturn of the Oil/Gas Exploration Industry, we've been struggling for the past 2 years. I've been with this company for over 12 years.
Today however, as loyal I am to this company, I strongly feel this company will not survive.

The main reason being was because our lead sales guy was laid off. He was actually the only one bringing us work and revenue.
If it weren't for him, this company would've gone under a year ago.

In this industry, I've learned long ago that its really people and service that gets the business. Not product.
And in this last round of lay-offs, we'll be losing the last bit of revenue we have.

I'm at a crossroads where I need to decide whether to abandon ship or stick around and bale out water for that last chance at survival and hopefully prosperity.

Every man for himself, or you could let the women and children go first to see if there are in sharks around.

I'd jump Holmes. I was in the same boat 2 years ago. I told them they'd last six months tops. They made it 2.

Best move I ever made. Loyalty goes out the window when my pay Is in jeopardy.

Are y'all publicly traded? I'm seeing a good short possibility here.
