I got stopped last weekend fishing for a little to much wake by the ramp. but anyways, he asked me for everything to make sure we was legal. we showed everything but got informed that our small (mustang) inflatable life jackets are now legal unless they are worn 100%. but if you had a regular pfd vest that you don't have to wear it. luckily I didn't get a ticket but learned that I just have a orange big vest stowed in the glove to be legal. doesn't make sense to me bc that will make the throw cushion no use then. I didn't get it, I have never heard this rule before and I know plenty people watch the pros with small inflatables and don't wear it 100%. so just thing to know now.

That's why I stopped wearing them , plus used to test them and got tired of buying the kit .

I'm also looking for it and I'll get back here if I find any worth recommending. Finally, I chose the following one and would like to share with you guys here.It cost less than 75 bucks, but the quality deserves much more than the price. Good design, good materials, very lightweight, best choice for wearing in such hot summer day. Here's the link: Automatic Inflatable Life Jacket

Glad you found one, I use a D ring to clip and unclip. The factory clip on most kill cords aren't very user friendly.
