 Need help with Lowrance Hook 5

I am totally new to freshwater fishing and boating. Just got a boat and Hook 5 GPS/Sonar, but having hard time figuring out how to navigate to waypoints or bring up fishing hotspots it's supposed to come with. Is there a way to bring up a lake maps on computer and mark the waypoints at home then upload them to Hook 5?

There are tutorials on youtube. I would bet the Lowrance web site has owner manuals. You will probably need to spend a little time studying these if you wish to be proficient with the unit.
