To sail on a dream on a crystal clear ocean
To ride on the crest of a wild raging storm
To work in the service of life and living
In search of the answers to the questions unknown
To be part of the movement and part of the growing
Part of beginning to understand

Aye Calypso the places you've been to
The things that you've shown us
The stories you tell
Aye Calypso, I sing to your spirit
The men who have served you so long and so well

Like the dolphin who guides you, you bring us beside you
To light up the darkness and show us the way
For though we are strangers in your silent world
To live on the land we must learn from the sea
To be true as the tide and free as a wind swell
Joyful and loving in letting it be

Aye Calypso the places you've been to
The things that you've shown us
The stories you tell
Aye Calypso, I sing to your spirit
The men who have served you so long and so well

I'm no marine biologist, but I'm relatively certain that there's no ocean around there. At least not until global warming raises the sea levels.

There is a New Great Depression in that area though. Does that help?

I'm a Sea Aggie too. Marine Biology is tough unless you wanna work for an environmental company down in Houston.

TPWD is an option without being a game warden. They employ quite a few marine biologists

Aquaculture is big business now. Get some names of the players and try to find out the names and contact info for potential hiring managers at these companies (a.k.a. "networking"). If that does not work, career change via MBA - 2 year investment that will pay off if you can get into a good program.

Several of the larger river authorities do too.
