Was really hot for L*** but they were too pricey for my blood. Was interested in high freeboard, beam width, stability and COST.

Just picked up the last boat I will ever own today at the Lewisville Tracker Boating Center, a Targa 185 SC with a Merc 115 OptiMax. Got everything I always wanted only about $7000 less expensive than L***. All welded, life-time warranty hull, storage out the kazoo, room enough for a hulk like me to dance with reds/stripers/crappies. I will get pictures taken tomorrow or Sunday as I have her under wraps right now pending this funky weather system. Stopped at Harbor Bay on Ray Hubbard hoping to get her in the water but it was really wound up on the north side of I-30, so I waited for JV to take out after his fishing trip and let him get a feel for The Beast. The picture I've been looking at of this boat for the last two weeks wasn't even close to what this boat is in real life!!! Man, it is huge! and that's GOOD, very GOOD! gringrin

The crew at Lewisville Tracker Boating Center is outstanding - Tom, Gary, Tracie and Jason - this boat was brought up from San Antonio late Tuesday evening and they had it ready for me this morning. I had them put an LMS 525C on the console and put the X47 that came with the boat on the troll motor.

I don't always catch fish, but when I do, I prefer Dos Hybrids

Congrats, you can finally move around in your boat like when you had your REDFIN boat. I love my Deep V and I know you will love yours.
