Hi guys. I'm taking the new next door neighbor and his 5 yr old son fishing on Lewisville in the morning. I really want to see that kid catch some fish. Does anyone know of a minnow dealer in the Lantana, Pilot Point/Highland Village area? Would they be open at 6 am?

It may be a little late for this trip, but in the future you can try the whole sale place at ValleyRidge and Mill Stret in Lewisville. The only down side is that you must buy a 1 pound minimum. Google live bait in lewisville for exact address and phone number

Can you access to fishing barge (to buy minnows) by boat? I almost always launch at pier 121. Anywhere to get minnows near there?

It has been a year or 2 since I was there but they had a dock there that I used then.

The dock at the crappie barge is closed for construction. We used it today and it was "sporty".
