So I have a motorguide brute 767 12/24 volt on my champion right now. Changing the motor out. It has 3 wires under the pedal hardwired in going to the batteries. Is there anything special I need to do to change it to straight 24 volts? Or do I just eliminate one of the wires? Im not an electrical guy at all btw. Thanks.

You can disconnect the 12v wire at both ends, use the 24v positive wire and the ground wire....
