So there was a crazed degenerate emo meth head running around with a laptop, and you left a (presumably) loaded weapon on the front porch while you were in the street directing traffic? Yeah...so...who hasn't done that?!?

I live in a low crime town but there was a murder here five or six years ago. They didn't find out who did it until last year. Excellent plot for a cliff-hanger made-for-tv movie! Only suggestion, further develop a list of potential suspects.
