Looking for some tips on fishing crystal beach this weekend.
Kind of fishing doesn't matter what ever I can catch.
I have no boat so surf fishing or wade fishing what ever ya'll think would be best?
And what to use for bait?
Pretty much need some lessons.
Thanks for the help.

O man crystal beach is a hot bed for mammoth bull reds and sharks. I would get some cut croaker and mullet and throw it as far as possible. Don't be afraid to go past the first sandbar to throw your line out and walk back. There is a large concentration of reds and sharks here ive noticed (pretty much anywhere from here north to sabine) good luck.

Ps- CUT BAIT IS KEY HERE!!!

Thanks for the info. Do you think this cold front will hurt the fishing this weekend?

Sure wish I could be doing that this weekend. We went down that way a few weeks and tore the reds up on mullett. Managed to catch 4 sharks as well. We did not use cutbait, but did get way out past the first bar to cast out. Good luck. Can't really answer your question about the cold front. Still pretty new to saltwater and not sure how weather changes affect the fish there and if it is the same as freshwater fish.
