Who all has one? I'm in the market for a new yak and I am interested in the frontier. I would like to get some feedback from some people that have one. So if you would please let me know what y'all think about them. Good and bad. I am a big guy and would love to find a way to test ride one before I buy. Thanks guys

I have one and I love it.

Good:
--Wide open, flat deck with a lot of available accessories that can be mounted in unlimited configurations.
--I love having the 360 degrees swivel seats so I can reach behind me and get my tackle, change rods, or fish from the back when I'm anchored.
--You would have to work hard to turtle this thing. I think you would just fall out first.
--With the flat transom mounting a trolling motor is easy. You can even put up to a 2.5 hp outboard on it if you want.
Bad:
--This yak with the high seats tend to catch a lot of wind. Paddling isn't bad in normal conditions but against the wind can be a real workout!

I'd let you paddle mine but I live on Falcon Lake so that would be a bit of a roadtrip for you. Then again, you'd get to fish Falcon Lake!

I bought my Nucanoe Pursuit from Angler's Pro Tackle in North Richland Hills. They had a Frontier the last time I was there. I think they will let you demo it too.

Have had mine for two years and love it. Paddle most of the time but also have 45 lbs Minn Kota Riptide trolling motor with shortened shaft on transom that I use on long runs or windy days. I'm a big guy but the NuCanoe is steady as a rock. Bought my Frontier online from Tri-State Trolling Motor - was delivered to my driveway. Here is pic of it after coming out of Willis Creek on Granger. My go to rig when those crappie are shallow up in the creeks.

I'm shopping for kayaks as well and was leaning towards the Forntier 12 until the guy at Anglers Pro Tackle talked me out of it. Wouldn't even let me demo it because he said if there's any wind people will get stuck on the other side of the lake. Looking at a comparable yak from Diablo now.
