http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas-Rechargeable-Volt-Battery/700551.utsThought it would be an easy way to hook up electronics without wiring to the boats batteries. Plus I live 2 hours from the closest lake and in the summer I can't sit on my boat to mess with the electronics. I would like to be able to power on the electonics inside the house to do updates and stuff.

If all your doing is using it at the house to power up for update and the like, it'll work. I wouldn't use that to power the electronics while on the boat. I have just a 12VDC, 10A power supply to power mine at home.

Yes. That'll easily power your graph for use at the house. just throw a 3amp inline fuse into the wiring and you'll be fine.
I did this to make my hummingbird 899 portable for use in remote areas.

I get a day off the small battery I have, I forget the amp hours of the one I have though. That plug the other guy spoke of sounds pretty nice for what you're doing.
