There should be a fuse under the hood in the rear. It's in line but motor will not run if it's blown.

This may help I am pretty sure the 150 HP will be the same
Re: 115 HP Evinrude FICHT Inline Fuse Locations
you wont be able to see the fuse, its concealed in a black rubber grommet. Look to the right side of the starter, there will be 2 black lines running to a black rubber connection, open that up and inside it will be the fuse, prob a 20 amp. the rubber grommet will probably been held secure to the motor by a metal clip or holder of some kind, gl

Thanks Hickory Nut. You were right. Exactly were you said it was. Found it,replaced it and installed my killswitch. I needed the new fuse because when I was replacing the kill switch I touched 2 wrong wires together and I saw the spark and took me awhile to figure out I needed a new fuse. looked all over the boat and under steering column and dash. unloaded the boat. actually when I started looking at the motor I saw it but didn't know what it was because I was looking for a wrong type of fuse. of course you know it was the older buss glass fuse. well I got a good story.
