My family and I are staying at a rental house on the just SE of the 103 bridge. Can anyone give us any tips on where to go and find some fish. Largemouth would be the main target, but we wouldn't mind chasing some cats or even panfish. Anything helps thanks.
Also, we are looking to rent a couple of jet skis. Is there anywhere up there that is affordable. I'm coming from the Houston area, so anything close to me works also. Thanks!

Basically find the grass and you've found the fish. Early throw any good topwater bait over the top of the grass. Big Swimbaits, weightless worms, rattle trps later.

There is a bay across from where you are staying, past high line wires. good spot for a few large mouth and brim. Also north side of 103 bridge west end good for cranking black bass and whites. good luck

Kinda curious where the house is you rented? You didn't mean 147 bridge, did you?

If you go North of the 103 and don't know what you're doing you better be lucky or you'll put the motor in the boat.

Yes that's the one we are at, I see there's a little cove right on the back side of where I am, I figured I can try there, or over by Jackson Hill Park. I'll be in my kayak, however my dad will have his boat out there with the younger kids
