For face and ears, zinc oxide is the real deal. It's the stuff you've seen in bright colors on surfers.

You can get it in clear in Equate brand. A little goes a long way.

Ocean potion for my face and ears always works great for. Long sleeves and spray on my legs and feet

two types of sunscreen --- chemical and physical . The physical types use zinc oxide and titanium dioxide . These actually block the sun. Chemical types alter your skin to block the sun's rays .
I use a Simms UV buff , with some sort of long sleeve UPF shirt and fingerless UPF gloves .
Anything exposed , I use Replenix physical sunscreen , 50SPF . Just don't get the physical sunscreen in your eyes and you'll be OK .
I have had about 25 trips to the skin doc and hate dealing with the damage now after 40 years of bass fishing .
What I would have given for these types of sun protection back starting in the 70's !!!!!!

I agree with wearing full clothing also. Used to work outside and the Banana Boat cream worked just fine. I don't recommend using any spray. Just don't get same coverage. I think any cream really works good no matter what brand. Ignore the marketing and use a 50+ SPF and should be OK. No sunscreen is water or sweat proof like they advertise. They all say reapply after about an hour and half or more frequent if getting wet or sweating.

Which ever one you use the most often in most cases. Get whatever brand in 50 and put it on first thing in the morning. Then add it as the day goes on.

Clothes and cover on top of that sun screen is not a bad idea like the guys above stated.

Thanks, Billy

Sun sleeves, sun gloves, face mask, long pants, and Nutrogena on any spot not covered completely

I do and use the exact same. Only thing that gets burnt is my (_Y_) when I lose a biggin or don't catch anything.

I like an spf shirt with a hood to protect ears and neck. Sun gloves are wonderful. Not a buff fan so use Neutrogena for face.

I like Smartsheild. It's kind of expensive, but I like that it is non-greasy. Plus it is a Dallas based company.

I fish in long sleeves and a buff always now. Like the huk ones

As for sunscreen. I like bullfrog gel, just dont rub it in too much, it "rolls up"... lifegaurding taught me never trust spray. If you use spray of any kind, still rub it in

I read this week that sunscreen, chlorinated water and UV rays combine to cause cancer.
