I see this for sale on ebay and was wanting to know if anyone has got one. I'm wanting to be able copy these maps to a blank MMC card for my Lowrance H2O. I know Navonics and the like can't be copied, but I was wondering if anyone has tried this type yet? thanks!

DaLunker,
I'm not sure, but I don't think the map files on the CD will be in the right format to work in your H20.

Rick,
SH said he does not think they will work on your card. And even if they do, they will likely be pirated copies, so I would stay away from them. Lowrance does not publish their FHS on disc. If we start ripping off Lowrance or Navionics, they will be less inclined to expend the resources needed to map that new lake we are always hoping will show up on their latest chip or website. Their market is so small, every little bit hurts.
Rick, bud, I'm not trying to be "preachy", I'm just asking for you to think about it a little more before you do it.

ahahaaha!! Man, I can't read....I thought he said it would work!!! No Casey, I'm not trying to do anything illegal, (20+ years as a police officer) I just know that some digital mapping, waypoints, and other stuff can be saved on a MMC card...and I just added the info on Navionics so no one would switch the topic in that direction...Check out this auction... HOT SPOTS DIGITAL MAP CD It looks like a real deal....Don't mind the preachin!!! thx! Rick

Don't waste your money, lunker! BPS used to carry that CD also about 3 years ago....you can only load it on your pc and transfer waypoints to your H2O. The maps are horribly outdated. Now I remember, BPS had them for $9.99 two years ago to get rid of them.
