I have been mostly fishing from my Kayak lately and dont make it up to Denton much now that FFM moved back north. I still have my Bass Hunter and do fish it on days when I feel like I will be doing some trolling. Its obviously much better for that than the yak.

Ive been scoping a new area for just over a year now. Very little traffic amd when there is traffic, its kids with bobbers. Taking fathers day to attack the bank. Heres to hoping haha. Been fishing at my dock, and that spro rat is killing them.

I would love to know of some other spots. Most of the ponds in Denton are covered with moss or to muddy.

I've been fishing more Lakes. Lewisville Ray Roberts even down into White Rock Lake.

You can fish the smaller arms or areas from your Bass Hunter. If it's a calm day it's not a problem at all. Be careful on the weekends those legs can get very busy especially Lewisville it's kind of insane to fish Lewisville from a small boat like that on a busy weekend so I stay away during the summer.

The commons were caught on pack bait mixture of sweet corn and oats. The pond "does have buffs" but for as long as I have been fishing it (almost religiously 4 or 5 months), I haven't had any luck catching one. If you look at the TPWD's website for North Lakes Park, the pond has an angler who holds all of the records and one of the categories is biggest buffalo at 15#.

What lake is this?

More of a pond than a lake called North Lakes in Denton. It is part of North Lakes Park. Decent fishing some days are slower than others, but this day in particular was on fire. I believe we caught 7 fish in 3 hours between the two of us.
