I'm needing a good pair of polarized sunglasses that will fit over my prescription bifocals. I have a cheap polarized pair purchased from Walmart, but my son and I were bed fishing and he was watching the fish pick up my lure whereas I could barely see the fish on the beds. I prefer not to have prescription sunglasses made due to cost, and think that a pair that would fit over my glasses would work. Can anyone recommend one ? Also, is there any way to look at a description in a catalog and have any idea of the degree of polarization? I have not tried clip ons thinking that they might mess up my regular glasses during an active, possibly rough riding bass fishing trip.

I have a nearly new pair in the case that have the amber lens. I don't use them and will sell for 20.00 plus shipping. I can take a pic and txt to you this afternoon. They are in like new condition only worn a few times.

Cocoon also, Bass Pro has different sizes (important to fit over your glasses) and shades and they have a 'test' poster to see how they work.

I know you are cost conscious and so was I but I got a pair of Oakley polarized prescription glasses and I absolutely love them. They were about $300 off glasses.com during a lense sale. Just keep watching their site and they run specials all the time. I wear them every single day.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

Likewise. I've been using Cocoons for years now. Excellent product.
...and the lifetime warranty is real....I broke one pair - my fault - sent them in, here comes the new ones.
Great service too.

I'll probably give the Cocoons a try. Any color suggestions? I was thinking amber.

I use the dark amber.
I just noticed that Academy has these too. Go there to find the ones that fit your frames. They make many sizes.

I have three pairs of fit-overs. One yellow pair for low light, one amber to see through water and one blue for very bright days.
