Vanish is by far the best on market, nothing else even close. It definitely lives up to it's name. Makes your tackle and fish vanish +1 They got the name right!! I've had no problems with Seaguar invisx or red label

You need to have tried it to really know what these people are talking about. I go the cheap route with Red Label 15# and 20# and have no regrets.

is it true that fluro snaps easily If fluoro is going to break, 9 times out of 10 it will break at the knot due to improperly tying the knot. The secret is to keep the line wet as you are cinching it down. The line-on-line friction of pulling it down dry generates enough heat to weaken the knot significantly.

I use Seaguar InvizX or AbrazX. Tatsu is too expensive unless you're a tourney fisherman with big bucks on the line, and Red Label is junk IMO. Other good ones are Berkeley 100% Fluoro and McCoy, and I have heard good things about Sunline (never used it though). As far as Vanish goes, it is in about the same class as Red Label
Has anyone tried Vicious fluoro? Hear it talked about a lot, too

You people ragging on vanish are clearly rookie types who can't catch them.

Vanish is by far the best on market, nothing else even close. Why do you even suggest this junk when he is asking an honest question. People that have used various different brands of fluorocarbon know that Vanish is on the bottom of the list. It is total junk line.

Don't hate, Caught this on Joe Pool with 6lb InvisX Doesn't mean much, other than we know how to catch fish and adjust a reel.
