Best, all around Smallmouth Lake, in Texas, for numbers, in your opinion? Always wanted to do a trip from Conroe area, but want to make it a successful one. Thanks, for your replies!

I have fished Belton multiple times and Texoma twice. I have caught more and bigger ones at Texoma in two trips than I have at Belton! Love smallies and going to Belton this weekend

Not a lake but the Devils River is world class smallmouth fishery. Research it. Good luck. JD

PK used to have some good small mouth 4-5 # with lake record at 6.50, Parks and wild life refuses to stock them for some reason.
