Currently shopping for an upgrade unit but not finding things lining up. I go to fingerprint units in store @ BP and Cabella's and their units have the chirp logo to the left of the power button All online pics of the same described units do not have it,but claim the same item features/capabilities These the same units or is there an upgrade to the ones with the Chirp logo affixed ? I dont need the plastic chrome stickers, just the performance

Look at the model names, not the labels on the unit. CHIRP is stated in the names.
The Helix 12 models are the only ones that have CHIRP on the face of the unit. No other first generation Helix has CHIRP.
G2 and G2N current models have CHIRP sonar and CHIRP Imaging.
Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 10 G3, Helix 15 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, Helix 8 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL , MEGA LIVE 2, Xplore 10

So these are Gen2 and the sales sites have pics of Gen 1 with Gen 2 details/features Look at the model names, not the labels on the unit. CHIRP is stated in the names.

G2 and G2N current models have CHIRP sonar and CHIRP Imaging. I guess it depends on when the pictures of the new models were available for advertising. Another way to tell if you see one on display is turn it off then back on. The model will be shown on the start-up screen: I did not think to take a picture of the Helix 5 DI GPS G2 start-up screen. I took this to show screen glare.
