Need a lil plumping advice, we have developed a very slow water flow from our kitchen faucets, both cold and hot, appears to be about 30 per cent of normal flow, had our water dept. check the meter today, all ok, I have also checked all other faucets, in side and out, all appear ok. The fixture has one extended flow unit and two individual flow controls, main water lines under sink also have dishwasher and refrig. water tapped in.

Unscrew the aerator from the spout...might be full of debris, slowing the output...either that, or it could be debris in the stem(s) under the handle(s).

After you clean the aerators, change the filters on the canneuter valves.

I had one time event. Never heard of it before or since.

The diverter valve that works the sprayer had failed. I either removed it or drilled it out, but flow became normal. Only difference is the faucet does not stop when the spayer is used.

If the aerator is not clogged .... maybe

Thanks guys,
actually cleaning the screen was my first attempt to fix, it was quite clean

Think I'll look at this tomorrow: The diverter valve that works the sprayer had failed. I either removed it or drilled it out, but flow became normal

You may have something clogging the seats and springs.

Thanks loads gang,

might just be more then I want or can do, simple repairs ok, however a old one armed guy should accept defeat at some point.

REALLY APPRECIATE ALL THE ADVICE.

Any Fruitvale area plumbers ?
