Meh, I don't stress about them. As long as I'm in the right hand lane going the speedlimit or faster, driving is already stressful enough, no need to add to it by worrying about what's behind you.

A Ziploc bag full of used motor oil splattered across their windshield will make them back off.

And by "brake checked" I'm sure you meant braked for the nocturnal creature that ran in front of you. wink

Hit your hazard flasher lights just long enough for the first 1 or 2 blinks while simultaneously speeding up. They think you are braking and will almost come to a dead stop. Believe it or not, an Aunt in her 80's showed me this trick. She would look in her rear view mirror and giggle when the tailgater slammed on their brakes.

It's made commuting to work much more....chill....

If someone tailgates me in that lane that's their problem. They can get in the passing lane and move along.

You can set your cruise control during morning commute???

Absolutely. Fort Worth traffic is not that bad when you ride 820 all the way from Benbrook to NRH.

For those that brake check. Make sure you have a nice pintle hook on your truck. If there's contact it'll take the impact and will surely do a number on the other vehicle's front end...
That'll learn them !!

40 years ago a psychologist wrote a book on driving habits. He gave certain habits a name. The one I always remember was the "butt in your face" drivers. My F-I-L was famous for that. He would get in the left lane then slow down and keep pace with the car next to him to block traffic. Always drove me nuts to where I refused to ride with him.

No kidding, riding in a car with someone who wont go around a car, or just rides in the left lane while cars are passing them in the right, will eat me up faster than just about anything possibly even worse than being behind said person. mad

Or worse are those people that pass you because they can't stand to drive behind something they can't see beyond. Then when they get in front of you they drive slower than you were going before they passed you !!

Turn the TS Performance Chip to #6 and roal coal. They usually stay off my arse after that. Then. Turn the chip back down so it doesn't smoke.
