I have 2 Optima yellow D31T on my boat for TM. So far they are holding good. Blue top D31M for the motor and electronics. These batteries were in the boat when I bought it. Don't know how old they are but are at least 3 years old I'm guessing. If I run both lowrance units, LSS-1 and the 200watt sonic hub playing music (4 speakers) with the motor off it will knock the bluetop voltage down to 11.6 after about an hour. Still has plenty of juice to start the Merc.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."
Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

They are pricey but have a 4yr warranty I have not used the Pure Lead with 4 yr warranty, I was referencing to the regular Cabelas AGMs with a 2 yr warranty that are on sale now.

I use the Pure Lead AGM batteries that are manufactured by Northstar Battery in Springfield, MO. I have 2 group 31's for TM and 1 group 65 for cranking and accessories. They are about 6 years old and going strong. I also have them in my truck and in my '34 Ford.
