Move this if you want. Decided to post here for more views. I'm looking at a rebuild on a 1999 mercury optimax 200 hp. I need advice on a good shop. I would preferably like to have a a cylinder resleaved but am having trouble finding someone that can do so without having to pay one person to remove the powerhead and another to do the machining. I've got a guy that can go back with a new powerhead so that's not really what I'm looking for. So who do y'all recommend?

Texas Outboard Rebuilders in Seven Points,TX on Cedar Creek lake. They give a 4 year warranty on their rebuilds.

Who does the best rebuilds?
Look at the condition of the area they perform assembly. It should be as clean as a room they perform surgeries in.

Their website states 2 year warranty and one year fully. 2nd year looks like they will charge 50% of the cost of repairs. Banner on their website states: "WE OFFER A 2 YEAR WARRANTY!
