Any one else disappointed with the way this course looks?
Last two or three courses have looked terrible on TV.
Whistling straits, Non watered on purpose Pinehurst...

I haven't had a chance to watch much. Hopefully the leaderboard tanks tomorrow. I don't like these low scores for the Open.

If it doesn't rain, this will be the best day and even today, morning was better than the afternoon. Looks like they may need to get the hay baler out.

Thought this was about tennis... I like the way you think.  That's not until September though. Wimbledon starts in a couple weeks.

Its interesting to hear a few of the players whining about the tall fescue. Heres an idea, dont hit it into that stuff. Also heard there are more amatuers under par then the there are top 10 in the world pros. Everybody is playing the same course fellas.

they ruined it. boring golf, too easy. pitch and putt. 45 players under par. lowest first round since 60. Its supposed to test these guys, not just lets see how far I can hit my driver. It is supposed to make them sweat and come back from mistakes. If you want to watch tournament where everyone is 15 under there are 20 other tournaments you can watch.

If it doesn't rain and the wind starts blowing normally, I would expect the scores to rise quickly. Yesterday morning might be as good as it gets.
