I've been a bad boy and let my top cap get some oxidation. I've polished and waxed it in the past with Maguiars auto products and my porter cable da buffer with an assortment of uber foam pads in the past and it worked quite well, but I feel it's going to take a little more elbow grease and product than I have on hand this time. The good thing is I don't think it needs a wet sand at this point.

What are the best products to wipe out the oxidation?

I just did my boat. It was a boat that sat on a lift at the lake for several years with no cosmetic TLC. Mine had pretty severe oxidation so it took a fair amount of work, but now it's shining like a diamond in a goats butt! There were a few parts on the boat that I thought didn't need the full wet sand process and I was able to make them shine pretty well by using a mix between Maguiars and Turtle Wax products. I also used the Harbor Freight 6" buffer with the compound pads, polishing pads, and finishing pads.
I used these steps and follow the instructions on the bottle.
1. Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound
Followed by the Maguairs Oxidation Compound
2. Maguairs High Gloss Polish
3. Maguairs Pure wax
It turned out almost matching the areas I wet sanded, but those areas aren't really parts that are visible unless you are in the boat paying attention. There was also a few places I thought I could get by without wet sanding but I ended up wet sanding and going through the entire process again in those areas. Do a little area on the boat and see how you like it and see if it needs wet sanding. Good rubbing compounds will work in some cases so it may work for you so your arm doesn't hurt for a week like mine did. Good luck!

That is a lot of work. I would take it to a detail shop.

May be time for a light wet sand to get down to good gloss, then buff and polish. I've seen some pretty badly oxidized boats look factory fresh with some elbow grease and a good polisher.

I like Collinite products for marine use.
