I have a client coming to town that wants to bass fish. I'm taking him to Ray Roberts tomorrow. Any info on what seems to be working now and where would be greatly appreciated!!! I really need to close on a business deal with this guy!

Best advice I could give is go to Fork, see if you can find a guide for the morning for a 1/2 day trip.

If the guy can flip into flooded willow bushes then take do that all day. We went and played around for a few hours and caught 15+ fish. The flooded willows are everywhere....some are really shallow but there are a lot in the 2-5' range. Most of the fish were small but we did have a few decent ones up to 4#.

Take him to Possum Kingdom, he'll think your a guide and you will close the deal. Fishing is incredible. Or go to Ray Bob and freakin loose the deal!

I find it hilarious everyone telling him to go to another lake. We fished it yesterday in a North wind and high pressure with blue bird skies and caught fish everywhere we stopped. Yes, most were small but still a great time. We probably missed another 15 fish on top of that. So to the OP, if you want some detail on some places to catch a few fish, feel free to send me a PM. It's not rocket science right now, at least for the smaller fish.

Caught em on a t-rig swim bait in the willows.

I was there two weekends ago, I had more success on the southern end of the lake. I caught fish flipping in 2FOW to brush piles in 40FOW, from the back ends of creeks to main lake, but that being said do not spend too much time in an area with out a bite, as there is a lot of "dead water". I would pull in fish fast and if I got a bite, stay and I could always catch a few more. But if I went 20-30 minutes without a bite, 75MPH to the next spot! They were spread out big time, maybe its better now.
Hope it goes well
