Anyone have a review on Jim Bowie Days in Bowie? looks like fun. Is there a GOOD RV park near there? Selma Park looked promising but the reviews are bad.
We'd probably arrive Friday and leave Sunday (23-24 June).
All input appreciated.

Might look at their schedule first, they only have it once a month, the weekend after the "2nd Monday". I haven't been in a while but we used to go all the time when I was a kid. If you get there early enough, and don't mess around too much, you can probably get trough the whole thing in 5 or so hours, or you could spend all day. Used to be a few guys who always had lots of hunting/fishing stuff, don't know if they're still there but they were always my go to booths.

Thanks Nocona. I'm actually interested in the Bowie Days Rodeo and so forth although the 2nd Monday thing sounds good.

Whoops, I saw Bowie Days, and instantly thought trade days.
On that, I don't know the first thing about it, they've probably got a Facebook page with all the details.

There are a few RV parks on the highway, and one in Alvord that comes to mind. I don't recall the names of the parks though.
