I know this is highly opinionated but are there any standouts?
Main target sandbass
I would like to know if there is a slab or size that might get the hybrid bite

I use Joe 'axman' reaxtion lures slabs. I'm sure sand Johnny's ole uglies are good also by what a lot of guys post here. I just haven't tried them yet. I will. You would think a 1.5 or 2 oz would entice the larger species but sometimes they don't.

1 oz of most any slabs will work when you are on top of them. Get the best bang for the buck slab. But on picky days...I have to agree with DC!

I am still feeding the man.....Walmart Chartruese Bomber Slab with cheap Crappie jig tied above. PK trees are very unforgiving.

The ones I make myself, as I have absolute confidence in them... that is half the battle.

Years ago these threads when Bryon and Mike were in the game used to be really good.

I've done the best on RSR lures. Hybrids seem to like the long slender minnow slabs.
