 Almost lost a chunk out of my rear.

Went on my daily run today around the neighborhood and a Great Dane jumped the fence and almost put teeth on me. I turn around held my fist up and yelled at him and he Backed off but he came inches away from getting me. I almost went and knocked on the door of the house but was pretty worked up and didn't want to start a conflict with the owners by saying the wrong thing. If it happens again I will. What is a legal defense weapon I could carry? I'm thinking about a 3 ft dowel rod.

I don't have a Facebook. I'm not sure what your getting at either. Me neither really. That just seems to be the thing to do. It may go viral. Did you get video? My only (not so good advice) is to move, quit running or shoot it. But again I'm not the best at advice.

When I use to jog I'd always carry a BFR. My daughter in Bridgeport CT this when she runs.

Not sure where you live but animal control is usually a good solution and a message to the owner. If not available, pepper spray, 3' dowel rod, dog treats all work typically but not necessarily in that order.

If you don't learn proper dog fighting techniques you may get front bottom damage. That damage is hard to repair.

Taser light looks interesting, just worried I would set it off in my pocket. I carry an oak walking cane and it has come in handy before.
How big is the bear pepper spray can?
