guess I should read more if there is a bag limit on gar 1 per day on Alligator Gar only. All other gar there is no limits. Actually for eating gar, I would recommend Longnose Gar. Mainly due to the typical size (2-3 ft) is perfect for cleaning and they are readily available just about anywhere.
