Sick of it! All week long 20 & 30 mph winds. Puts a serious dent in the fishing/golf activities.

Took yesterday and today off to fish before the holiday crowds hit the lake. And of course it blows 30 mph both days. 
You are not a good or nice person.

It has been awful here in the mountains around Taos. Last two days 35-50 MPH

Before I ever thought of moving to Texas I lived in Missouri. Got involved with a big informal golf tourney up there where guys invite all kinds of friends and toss stupid money around for a weekend. One of the days, this guy played in our group and he hit the sweetest, low screaming straight drives I've ever seen to this day. I made a comment about his skills and he told me that he was from West Texas and you learn to hit them like that or you take up a different hobby.
Still remember that vividly but didn't really understand till I got down here.

Yep, you learn to do that out there. I lived out there for a couple of years. Either you learn to play the wind or you don't play. Before I ever thought of moving to Texas I lived in Missouri.
