...after reading and responding to hops culinary and cultural appropriation thread. Turns out the overwhelming majority of Mexican/Latino restaurants are either owned or CEO'd by rich white dudes. Taco bell, taco bueno, taco Johns, taco casa etc., all white boys. The owner of abuelos is a dude from Taiwan of all places.
Some people in Oregon need a lesson in entrepreneurship.

Yum brands owns taco hell and is CEO'd by a guy named Greg Creed. Maybe a Latino ought to take over, their food sucks.

That is why I go to La Juanitas down in New Summerfield.
Good place to get day workers also.

I would open a Chinese restaurant, but just don't feel right about cooking dog. If I could just use cat I would do it.

All the Mexican/Latino places you mentioned are large corporate chain companies. The vast majority of Mexican/Latino places that I frequent are independent family owned places; and they might two places at most.
