Thanks. I wasn't sure about it. Going to a minimalist wallet and trying to get as many things out of it that I can. I didn't find anything that said it had to be on your person just in the boat.

In the boat with insurance papers. Just like an automobile. That way if you let someone borrow your boat they have proof of regitration and insurance.
