Thanks guys. This lake is truly amazing. I can't even tell you how many 3-4lbers I caught this day as well. Its crazy when you catch a 4ler and just kind of shrug and say its a decent one. It is crazy the amount of pressure it is getting every since the BASS AOY last year from Bass guys. A lot of the spots I wanted to fish on Saturday already had a couple of boats on them. A few years ago you would have maybe seen a handful of bass boats out there. Now the ramps are full and all the good spots have boats on them. I did talk to another guy that was out there Sunday and had one of the best days Ive ever heard of from that lake. 5 best was 30+lbs with a 7-3 kicker fish. A guide out there as well had 5 fish right around 6lbs with their smallest fish going 5-3. Crazy stuff going on with that lake. Sure hope it last awhile.

Holy batman balls!! Those are STUD smallies!! :-) Maybe having to wait til a certain time makes the bass "dumb" per se and they want to eat?!?! I know I'd go stir crazy wanting to fish so bad...

They certainly bite a lot better prespawn as most bass do. These things have been sitting around all winter for this so once you find a bunch it doesn't take too much to get them to bite.

I grew up near that lake and have yet to fish it for smallies. I should be punished severely! Goodness what a trip! Great job!
Thank you Lord for the gifts in my life

Those have got to be the prettiest kind of bass there is. Too bad we don't have them in South Texas. But, we don't have hard water, either!

We have 3 boats headed to Mille Lacs on June 2nd as well from Shreveport, Lafayette and Kingwood. First time to Minn...for 10 years we've been pulling the boats to Erie, St. Clair and Sturgeon Bay. We're seriously pumped and your pics verify we've made the right choice this year!
