Hey guys, I've been testing out the Nucanoe Pursuit on the water and I put together this review outlining the strengths and weaknesses of this kayak. Overall, it's a fresh, unique design with tons of stability, surprising speed, a clean deck layout and lots of rigging options. Who else has fished from the Pursuit? What do you guys think about it? Would love to hear more opinions/thoughts.

That was a great review on the Pursuit. I really like this yak but was actually unaware of the seat lock and foot pegs being sold as options. Nothing mentioned was a real deal killer but good information to know!

Great review. I dig my Pursuit. Best yak for a fly fisherman IMO.

Another very good review!
Almost all kayaks, now, are hybrids of one combination or another. This one isn't really a kayak with canoe features, it is really a canoe with several kayak features. I suppose its name "Nucanoe" gives this away.
It also has those SUP paddle genes, too. I really like it. I can imagine this one being a dream vessel for fishing marshes, shallow water, fly fishing, standing and sight fishing . . . all the things Robert mentioned.
If all it takes is $55 to finish this one out, that is a screaming bargain compared to the after-market add-ons most kayak require!

Brad I think you nailed it, those are definitely the areas where this boat shines. No yak is perfect for all fishing or water types, but this one really excels in certain areas like the ones you listed. I was really impressed by it.

Great job on the review Robert. It's about time for you to come back to Texas isn't it?

Great review. I love my Pursuit, best money I ever spent on fishing stuff.
