Not sure if it will slow you down much but I saw a guy just pulling over one morning on my way to work at 3:30am that had drug them for so long the fiberglass rods were only about 8 inches long

Left the TM down last week. Tore the mounts up. First time I've damaged anything leaving it Down.

I planed off my Legend with the PP's all the way down before. Kept thinking, this thing feels sluggish....

I'll go one step further on the DA evolution chart. I pulled my boat on the trailer with the trolling motor down! I dropped the trolling motor while at the car wash washing the boat and forgot about it and drove it back to the boat storage like that! All it did was shorten the skeg on the TM about 2 inches I ran that TM a couple of more years with no problem.

I almost took off with the trolling motor down on Sat. But caught myself in time. Wouldn't have been the firs time.

I know they don't load up on the trailer very well with that trolling motor down.
