Out again today. Same pattern except more dinks. Had a limit at 8:40. I also tried an ice shad on 1/16 head and that worked well also. Would start with the chart slab bug and when things slowed, drop the ice shad and catch a few more. Need to fish the piles carefully. Fish were concentrated in small areas of some piles. The side of the pile closest to the bank usually held fish. There's still shad spawning on the banks early. If you're looking for some white bass or blue cat action, look for the birds standing on the bank.
