Back in the day, IBM dress code was dark suit, white shirt and tie. Even on the assembly line, it was slacks and buttoned shirt.

We have our company logo on button ups from Peter Millar to Cinch and GameGuard. The catalog button ups are garbage, just find a good embroidery shop and make your own for that extra look.

I agree. Khakis if it's a meeting with a big wig.....all others get jeans. In Longview, very few people were suits. Funeral homes workers.....that's all I can think of.

I thought about that as I was going to job interviews. My suit is solid black and I typically wear a white shirt. The only other colors are with my ties, they vary, but none are solid colors. Thought maybe I was over-dressed and needed to scale back to a charcoal colored suit, but that would have meant going to buy one. I don't think it made any difference one way or the other on the interviews.
