Have not posted much lately. some slow trips and lotz of wind. Had Glenn and Bruce Whelless out today (Mon.). Trip was not the greatest but kept grinding and found enough fish to make it fun. Sandbass are almost done spawning. Few still have eggs. Shad are almost done spawning and fish are staring to move to humps. Cleaned 40 large fish today. Fish were much bigger than they have been the last few trips.
After this week have quite a few openings if anyone wants to get in on some great fishing before it gets too hot. Give me a call
at 817-597-6598 and we will go.
The picture below shows why I don't make a living as a photographer. LOL

can't tell that the color of flies make any differance. White is working as good as any of the other colors.

I went Sunday, found a few, there were balls of shad 50 yards across, fish were underneath them and very healthy.
the wind picked up about noon, and I had plans so had to leave them biting.
weather was perfect, Id take a smooth day of a few fish over filling the boat and getting beat to death any day

Went out this weekend and did good but not understanding all the eggs in the ones we cleaned. I thought they would be done spawning.

Think me and my dad met you last Saturday Johnny. We kind of encroached because water got in our transducer and it killed our fish finder and we hadn't been out to Eagle Mountain in probably 10 years.

Seemed like you guys weren't having any trouble catching them. Usually that's us but we had an off day.
