I bought this john board trailer off of craigslist... I added some treated 2x4's that I will use to attach PVC pipe for a Pro Angler 14... Any advice on how to attach the PVC to the 2x4s? And I will add one more 2x2 on the front cross member.

Gonna attach the 3" PVC tonight with some rubber grommets, washers and screws. John Boat trailer from craigslist = $250 Bigger wheels from Northern Freight = $80 (they are half off right now BTW) 2x4 and PVC = $25 Still thinking about removing the wench up front so I can move the yak up a little. I think the yak will end up sitting to high but I've gone this far... I might end up taking it to a welding shop after a while depending on how this goes.

That's a nice little set up you have there Fred. I know this may sound a little funny but I used heavy duty zip ties to secure the PVC pipes to my traile. It allows the PVC pipes to find their own groove. And since you are tying the kayak down to the trailer you don't have to worry about them falling off.
