I held off on wearing dri-fit shirts for way too long. Try one out, and you will wish you had done it a long time ago. +1 There are more cost effective options than HUK. Tell me some other choices, i have a couple of megellans and prob 6 or 7 Huk, what's as good a quality for less money? Made in Guatemala, I'd say pretty good markup. Labors cheap but not the price.

HUK is some good stuff. Quality product. And plus Huk is strictly fishing stuff. With Nomad being their hunting side. So it's not another big sportswear company try to dip into the fishing side like most the other brands. The guys from Huk actually came from Underarmor because they didn't like how the fishing side was being done.

another +1 on the long sleeve shirts. My favorite so far is the Columbia Omni Freeze material. During the summer if the wind isn't blowing, the moment it picks up, I get cold and it's 100 degrees out.
I just picked up a HUK shirt from Christmas, haven't had the 100 degree to test it yet, but it will likely get tested soon.

Fish dont care about moobs!
HUK has a military pricing program for those of you that served, FYI.
I usually stick to Magellan. Cheap, readily available at Academy, and they come in pleasant colors. Thanks, I did not know they have a military discount

My moobs don't like those shirts Preach!!! But I wear them anyway. I like how they feel on my moobs.

Go to Acadamy & get their Magellan brand "cool dry" long sleeve shirts for $20. Just as " cool & dry" as Huk, Nike, Under Armor.....unless you just like paying for a logo. But YES they all keep you cooler than a short sleeved T-shirt.

Another product I really like You might be mistaken for a burn victim, but it beats reapplying sunscreen 3X a day If you have a dri long sleeve without a hood; feels much cooler wearing this compared to a hat Also keep the knats, mosquitos, and other flying biting insects off your face, ears, and neck.

My husband recently picked up a Huk brand one for a fishing trip in Costa Rica and he was really happy with it. You will find that the UPF style shirts can vary quite a bit by brand. We have found that the PELAGIC brand ones are the lightest and the coolest to wear in the Texas summer heat.

I only get the other brands at the end of the year when they are all 20 bucks. Lol. Actually that's when I do all my shopping. Buy all my winter stuff in spring and all my summer stuff in fall. Call me cheap but I don't see the point in paying for a name anymore

I was wondering what y'all though of the huk long sleeve shirts that are suppose to keep you cool. My main question is if its 90 degrees won't wearing a long sleeve shirt make you hotter? Nope they keep you cooler I was skeptical also but have been wearing them for years now.

So I have to report I love the HUk product. I am shocked to report I was cooler with the long sleeve shirt than a short sleeve shirt and had no sunburn.
