Ive got a motorguide 36v 109# thrust tour that seems to not be getting full power. Last fall I replaced all 3 trolling motor batteries with brand new ever start 29 series batteries because my old batteries were old and started to not last all day. Used to when I put the tm on 9 and left it there by mistake, I'd nearly throw myself out of the boat when i turned left or right. Now when the dial is on 9 it feels like its about half power. Could it be one of the connections on one of the batteries is not good, batteries already bad? Not really sure what could be wrong. Thanks for any help!

Could be several things. Have you checked the voltage on the batteries? They can go bad early. Check all the connections. Or it could be the trolling motor itself.

That would be my 1st guess, too. I just replaced a 6 year old TM battery. I've had to bring them back after a few months, to.

Be safe,

Check the plug. Jumper wire may be bad. May be you are running on 24v vs.36v.

Sounds like you don't have the batteries wired up correctly for 36 volts.
