First Pic is Possum Kingdom Lake. A two boat trip thanks to Randy Wood. Both boats limited. We cleaned 35 stripers, the pic is from my boat. Each boat caught essentially limits of whites as well.
The second pic is a Granbury trip. 5 keeper stripers and a bunch of sandies. Fishing is good.

Nice catch. Good to see those keeper stripers.

I have not seen many keeper stripers this year at PK but sand bass fishing has been as good as I've ever seen it. I caught 30 Sandies in a span of an hour and a half crappie fishing. I can't imagine how good it must be if you actually trying to catch them. In Neely Slough that evening, my Helix 7 screen totally filled with fish. I switched to down imaging and it showed big white dots from 5 feet all the way to 30 feet. I've never marked that many fish before at any lake.

Striper spawn must have been good last year as well. In the cove right before Hells gate I marked a nice school of fish and dropped a crappie jig into them thinking it might be crappie. Turned out to be huge numbers of 8 inch stripers. I used to see big schools of small stripers like that at Texoma but never at PK.

John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

this excites me. With all of the new structure created from the drought and the dam being out of commission for electric production this could turn the lake around in a big big way.

Nice job Michael. I was hoping to see you and Randy last Saturday. I had a group of teenagers from Poolville for a 16th birthday trip. Looked like the northern was going to hit PK well before Eagle Mountain and they were not set up for bad weather. Even with 30+ south winds we did well and did not get wet. I'm booked pretty solid on Texoma for May so probably want see you guys for a while. And a note from another post, it was about a 50/50 split of the sandbass that had not finished their Spring business as of April 29.
