I keep hearing Ray Hubbard is a good lake for catfishing.I am limited to bank fishing and have had no success on my outings.Would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction and have any suggestions on how I need to fish Hubbard for catfish.I have only lived onthe Lake for 3 months.I have made some super friends on here but they fish for bass and or Sandbass and Hybrids, wit very little catinfo.I am not asking for the secret honeyholes I just need a little help as where to start. Thanks Ricky

Give a child a fish and feed him for a meal. Teach a child to fish and they stay hooked on something else besides drugs and violence. Alans Last Word If you dont discipline your children, the sheriffs gonna, Florida State Football coach Bobby Bowden once told Esuire. http://secretweaponlures.comhttp://www.chatterbait.com/

Off of the bank, try anywhere that the rainwater is running into the lake, at a small creek, or drain area. The water will muddy up, and they will be around that area, in shallow water. Off of my boat, if the wind is too high to go out in the middle, I like to anchor at the edge of the rif raf at a bridge opening. I will stay out of the wind, and fish just at the edge where the large waves come under the bridge from the wind. The cats like the current that is created there, and they will be close to the rocks. Hope this helps,,,,, Oh leave a few for me!!! And also, I almost forgot, off of the bank look for white washed trees from the birds, they cats like to hang out close to those, usually in shallow water.

find you a hard bottom, running water is good,i-30 bridge along rocks,,,,rowlettside of 66.and/or dannykings (red-lid-blood)punch bait OR green (garlic) w/#4 treble hook works for me...shad or shrimp with a little "ambosol tooth medication"poured on it,oh the punch bait is great just KEEP IT OFF UR HANDS ,,,I USE A STICK OR PLASTIC BAG to form it on the hook ....and small (1"to 2")crawfish works well with all this fresh moving water. OR AT lavon in the timber north of farmersvill on 380 -west side of t bridge -not sure if the water got that far up yet but the if creek is up /out fish around willows -good luck -

Boated 20 nice channels yesterday. Usually use Danny King under a slip cork, about 3 foot deep. Keep your cork near the rip rap, not so close as to get hung up tho. Yesterday I used cut shad, boated much larger ones than the DK produces. Channels are near the spawn, looking for cover like the rip rap, etc. and shallow. The one blue I caught had eggs but were not well developed yet. Cats were right up near the bank all day.
