And a lot of these U.S. preachers you see on TV are also on TV in other countries begging for money there, don't just think they are only in USA.

It's funny that benny and Joel offend you. There are big churches in every town, usually for smaller towns churches are the biggest buildings town. These guys just took the product to the airways, most like a franchise. Not unlike what McDonald's did with the burger. Don't hate them for thinking a little bigger.

don't get your point weighin...our paster (Eden Cowboy Church) doesn't really take a salary(well he donates most of it back to the church), and donated the land the church is on. Yes, it's one of the biggest buildings in the Eden area...so, yep, big building, but NOPE - the pastor isn't in it for the $$...he has a job for that, and he ranches some as well...the Lord does bless those that do His work, not for themselves, but for the blessings they help give others.

Also, we don't pass an offering "plate", we have some donation containers on a back table...if you want to tithe, then do so, if not, no worries!

Evidently got divorced a few years ago and now is selling stuff off from this place. Was meeting with a client about some landscaping and he is into construction and foreclosure/sell offs. He mentioned they had just bought a bunch of stuff from his place and had just gone over to pick it up. He mentioned everything in there was gold plated and very extravagant.

Give your money to the Lord....oh, and to the bank that finances the Gulfstream jet!?
