The Shaw grigsby knot. Forgot the real name That's the doubled pitzen. Very good knot. Jimmy Houston calls it The Jimmy Houston Knot Gary Klein also uses it.

The best knot is the one that you'll actually learn to tie. A palomar knot is simple and performs extremely well. Absolutely. Find a knot you like and tie it the same way over and over again.

A Palomar tied correctly is just as good as any of them.

The only knot I tie for fluorocarbon is a "Shark knot." Probably the strongest knot out there!! For braid palomar knot or snell knot.

Tried many knots, the Shaw Grisby knot by far strongest flourocarbon knot. Easy to learn easy to tie

Any knot you like just make sure it's lubed good when you cinch it down.

Find a knot you like and know how to properly tie. Any of them will work. I tie a double improved clinch knot and have never had a problem.
Just do what you know how to do and you will be fine.
