They are either at Piney Pt Valero getting gas or drinking beer at the Stump.
Thanks, Billy

Imagine the "talk" if they win it again. Weights are down compared to previous years. Hopefully all that talk about Rayburn being on fire will calm down.

I'm not fishing it but saw on FBook one boat that was crushed on the side and had the motor completely ripped off from another boat running over them. Then saw a nitro Z21 that tried to jump the island in front of Rayburn park...didn't make it! Taking nearly a 5 to be in the top 15 every hour, the top end seems lower than normal though, no DD's for sure think an 8 something is leading.

Hourly results are on KICKS 105.1 website. Best I can tell, an 8.51 is leading at this time. Only had nine 8's weighed in first two days. My buddy is hammering the 3.5-4's but can't seem to get the really good bite.

No giants yet but a ton of 5-7 lbers. The amount of 3-4lbers in there right now is pretty crazy.

I use to only stay away from lakes on holidays because of crazy drunk pleasure boaters. More and more it looks like I need to be looking out for crazy sober tournament fishermen on tournament days.

[quote=kellisag] Buddy's wife works with the driver of this boat. Story is they launched at Bayou Recreation ramp in 5 Fingers, sitting just off the ramp and were getting ready to head out to their spot. The passenger had just got up on the front deck strapping rods down when they were hit on the port side. Knocked the motor off. Passenger, by the grace of God was on the front deck and the other boat slid off the back deck(knocking the motor off the Fisher Boat). Other boat had no running lights on and after they made sure the occupants were ok left the scene. That was no bueno. The boat in the pics had running lights on and was dead in the water. GW was notified obviously. My question, would leaving the scene constitute hit and run and/or felony?
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

Seems like the "law of large numbers" here, more boats more accidents, year end-year out. They once said, "lets grow the sport", indeed they have and its not for the better in some cases!

Wow, if they left the scene that's crazy. I'm not sure how a boat could actually be able to leave the scene after that. Surely the lower unit on the other boat was damaged. Guess not though. Whoever it was, hopefully they get caught. When I saw the pic the first thing I thought was I guess he didn't have anybody with him because there wasn't any mention of a partner. The good Lord was watching out for that guy

I am by no means a law expert but I have been told in the past that felony hit and run only applies when injuries occur. The fact they stopped and made sure everyone was OK before leaving probably will spare them a felony charge. They could still be charged with leaving the scene of an accident (hit & run) provided they didn't leave contact info with the boat they hit I would think.
