Hi all,
I'm looking into getting a new Lowrance unit for both Fish Finder & Navigation. Can you all provide any feedback and reviews on performance and pros and cons for the Chirp 7 or the Elite 7?
From what I can tell is they are similar other than the elite is a touch screen...

I think you mean the lowrance Hook 7 with Chirp. It won't do SI. And I don't believe is able to be networked. It's the bottom tier Lowrance color unit. Elite came before the Hook. It is the Hook's predecessor.

Elite TI will have touchscreen which is awesome, side imaging from the totalscan trasducer, and just an overall much better unit. Worth the little extra $ IMO.

I just bought the Elite 7 TI, can't wait to get out on the water with it. If you go that route, I think you will like the touch screen, makes adding way points as easy at touching where you want it.
